About Andreas De Rosi: Education and Work Experience
I am Andreas De Rosi, an entrepreneur and business consultant with a strong background in international business and a deep passion for digital ventures. I earned my Master’s degree in International Economic and Business Studies from the University of Innsbruck (Austria), and during my studies, I had the opportunity to be an exchange student at the University of Bradford School of Management (UK), where I further honed my skills in management.
My professional journey began at Evalueserve in New Delhi, India, where I worked as a Business Analyst conducting international market research for Fortune 500 companies. This role was pivotal in shaping my analytical skills and understanding of global business landscapes. From there, I moved on to Indexport in South Tyrol, Italy, where my responsibilities included export consultancy, organizing international trade fairs, and supporting SMEs in establishing cooperative export ventures.
In 2007, I transitioned to working as an independent consultant in New Delhi, focusing on market research and sales & marketing activities for European companies looking to penetrate the Indian market. This experience provided a profound insight into cross-cultural business operations and strategies.
Following my stint as an independent consultant, I served as the Director at Eurobrands Consulting Pvt. Ltd., where I led a team providing comprehensive business consulting services for international companies entering Asian markets. Our services ranged from market research and business strategy development to legal and HR advice.
My entrepreneurial spirit led me to found PhotoWorkout in 2019, a platform that combines my passion for photography with my marketing acumen, becoming a premier online resource for photographers worldwide. Following its success, I founded Mappr in 2020, where I leverage my love for maps and content creation, growing it into a leading online resource for cartography enthusiasts and professionals.
Through these experiences, I’ve developed a unique blend of creative and analytical skills, enabling me to build businesses that not only succeed commercially but also provide substantial value to their user communities.
